Interest rates structurer, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, $Competitive
A well-respected fixed income platform in Abu Dhabi is looking to hire a junior interest rates structurer for January 2009.
First interviews will be started 1st week of December and candidates will ideally be either already working in the UAE or have a valid work permit to do so.
Responsibilities include:
-Pricing and valuation of vanilla and exotic interest rates products,
-Making recommendations to the trading team,
-Supporting the senior fixed income structurers,
-Briefing members of the distribution team on more complex structured products,
-Occasional structuring and modeling of FX- or commodity- linked interest rates hybrid products,
-Assisting with the preparation of termsheets and other documentation.
Applicants must have:
-Experience in an interest rates or FX structuring, trading or front office quant team at Analyst level, preferably in the GCC region,
-In-depth knowledge of G10 and local GCC currencies,
-Excellent VBA modeling skills,
-Excellent knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint,
-Finally, Arabic fluency would be a plus but is not a must.
